Hi ladies.. just a quick post...im still out of town and will be back in Manila for a couple of days.. today I received a comment from
SARA and Sara told me that there's someone who's using my photo and I checked the link.thank u Sara for the link I really dont have any idea on this... and I am really surprised when I saw my photos on the other blog...I really dont know what would I react.. Im not even sure if I would be flattered for from so many nail art photos on the net, she choose mine to upload on her blog...and it means she likes my designs... but then, One thing for sure
I dont like the idea of removing my watermarks and replace it.. if u like to save or upload my photo ur free to do that but pls dont remove my water marks and replace it and claimed it as ur own nail art design!! just give a little RESPECT!!

ReplyDeleteI would not be flattered if someone took my photos and removed the water marks. If they were trying to share YOUR work they wouldn't have removed the water marks. That is a very rude and dishonest thing to do.

That is not cool removing your watermark and replacing it with hers. That is stealing.

ReplyDeleteThat's so uncool! If she was posting yoru image with your watermark along with a link to your blog, that would be cool I think, but this is just plain nasty. Get your own designs on your own nails lady!

ReplyDeleteStealing is a crime, you're right! I'd be curious, what was she able to say when she got your message... LOL. It's such a mean trick. There is only ONE good thing about it: she likes your nail art :) But this can't be a reason for what she did..
yikes! deff adding the water marks you think would deter people from stealing! you can also disable right clicking on you blog to help stop stealing of your pics... check my blog and you will see i disabled i!

OMG, I just read your post! I don't know why people do such things!?! That's why it's important that you watermark your photos well! I know that photos don't look as good with WM, but it's better safe than sorry.
ReplyDeleteYou know that we (Parokeets) are having a watermark all over our photos, but an internet portal of a local gossip newspaper stole my photo and post it on their site anyway. WTF?!? Can you believe it? And there was still my WM on the photo (they just cut the border) and they didn't credit me. I wrote them an email and they took the photo down. My experience is that if you contact the person, they'd take the photo down.
Yes, your design and nails are gorgeous! If they weren't, nobody would care for them. ;) And nobody would want to steal them. LOL
